
The project titled “Technical Support for Conduction of CB-NCP Follow-Up after Training” was implemented in the Kailali and Kanchanpur districts, with the IMCI Section of the Child Health Division, DoHS, as the client. The lead firm provided services valued at Rs. 9,90,000.00 (excluding VAT), funded by the Government of Nepal. The consultancy assignment spanned from FY 2067/068, commencing on March 1, 2071, and concluding on March 15, 2068.
The primary objective of the project was to provide technical support to the District Health Offices in Kailali and Kanchanpur for the follow-up activities related to Community-Based Newborn Care Program (CB-NCP) after the initial training. These activities included conducting a District Planning meeting, a field visit, data analysis, and a debriefing meeting. Additionally, the firm was responsible for managing logistics effectively and efficiently.
The services provided by the firm included conducting the District Planning meeting, field visit, data analysis, and debriefing meeting. The firm also conducted training on infection management and disseminated messages on the importance of handwashing and the use of toilets to 30 mother groups. Effective logistics management was demonstrated throughout the project’s duration.
