Community level CB-IMCI Training in Myagdi & Bhojpur Districts

The project titled “Technical Support for Conducting CBIMCI Community Level Training” was carried out in the Bhojpur and Myagdi districts with the IMCI Section of the Child Health Division, DoHS as the client. The lead firm, along with an associate firm, provided services worth Rs. 41,00,900.00, funded by the Government of Nepal. The consultancy assignment spanned from FY 2065/066, commencing on September 17, 2065, and concluding on March 20, 2066.

The project aimed to support the District Health Office in various training and orientation activities, including District Planning and DDC Orientation, VHW/MCHW Training, FCHV Training, Mother’s Group Meetings, FCHV follow-up Training, WASH and infection management at health facilities, promotion of handwashing and toilet use at the community level, and Traditional Healers Orientation. The firm also managed the logistics for these training sessions.

The actual services provided by the firm included conducting two batches of District Planning & DDC Orientation, seven batches of VHWs and MCHWs training, 40 batches of 5-day FCHV training, organizing 360 Mother’s Group Meetings, conducting 103 batches of follow-up FCHV training benefiting 900 FCHVs, conducting 24 batches of Traditional Healer’s orientation, and overseeing seven batches of WASH and infection management at health facilities, all while efficiently managing the logistics for these training activities.
