The project titled “Technical Support for Conducting CB-NCP Training” was carried out in the Morang district, with the IMCI Section of the Child Health Division, DoHS, as the client. The lead firm, in partnership with an associate firm, provided services valued at Rs. 29,00,000.00 (excluding VAT), funded by the Government of Nepal. The consultancy assignment took place during FY 2066/067, commencing on December 16, 2066, and concluding on March 20, 2067.
The primary objective of the project was to provide technical support to the District Health Office in Morang for various training activities, including a District Planning meeting, health worker training, VHW/MCHW Training, WASH and infection management at health facilities, promotion of handwashing and toilet use at the community level, FCHV Training, and Mother’s Group Meetings. The firm was also responsible for efficiently managing the logistics for these training sessions.
The services provided by the firm included conducting one batch of the District Planning meeting, conducting eight batches of health worker training, organizing six batches of VHWs and MCHWs training, completing 65 batches of 7-day FCHV training, conducting 14 batches of Traditional Healer’s orientation, and overseeing 14 batches of WASH and infection management at health facilities. The firm demonstrated effective and efficient logistics management throughout the project duration.
